Week 5 to Week 8

Customer Release Update

What changed, why it matters, and how it improves day-to-day operations.

Published March 10, 2026

At a glance

From Week 5 to Week 8, Legde strengthened billing flexibility, communication, lease documentation, and maintenance operations so landlords can run daily workflows with less manual effort.

Week 5 - More Flexible Billing and Income Workflows

You can bill tenants in ways that match real-world rental operations.

  • Support for monthly, quarterly, and annual rent frequencies.
  • Bulk-charge tenants for common fees such as service charge, parking, and generator.
  • Handle shared expenses across units with cleaner cost allocation.

Week 6 - Better Communication and Fewer Missed Payments

You can now keep tenants informed and reduce manual follow-ups.

  • Send announcements to one property, selected tenants, or everyone.
  • Tenants now see a clear noticeboard in their portal and can mark items as read.
  • Automatic reminder emails now go out for upcoming rent, overdue payments, and lease expiry.

Week 7 - Lease Agreements in Minutes

You can generate a ready-to-sign lease agreement without starting from scratch.

  • Download a pre-filled lease agreement directly from the dashboard.
  • Key details are already included: landlord, tenant, property, rent, and dates.
  • This reduces legal drafting time and speeds up move-ins.

Week 8 - Maintenance Management End-to-End

You now have one place to run maintenance from request to resolution.

  • Track each request through clear statuses (open, in progress, completed, cancelled).
  • Add updates, notes, costs, and photos in a single workflow.
  • Tenants receive status updates so everyone stays aligned.

What is next

  • Week 9 and Week 10: Faster tenanting, team collaboration, and conversion-focused UX improvements.
  • Week 11: Document storage for leases, IDs, and receipts.
